Cherry Nut Party coffee Cake with Chocolate Glaze

No excuse for a party? Invent one !you’ve been blessed with one more sunrise, you survived your boss’s endless demands one more week whatever you feel good is an ideal reason to make this recipe . I’ve provided to cake – you choose the occasion.

(Serves 8)

1 ½ cups reduced – fat biscuit baking mix
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 ¾ cups SPLENDA Granular
8 maraschino cherries chopped
¼ cup chopped walnuts
2/3 cup fat – free milk
12 egg, well beaten , or equivalent in egg substitute
1 tablespoon+ 1 teaspoon reduced  calories margarine
1 (1-ounce) square unsweetened chocolate
2 tablespoons fat – free sour cream
1 teaspoon vanilla c\extract

Preheat oven to 350 degrees . Spray an 8-by-8-inch baking dish with butter-flavored cooking spray. In a large bowl , combine baking mix, baking powder, ½ cup SPLENDA, cherries and walnuts. Add milk and egg. Mix gently just to combine. Evenly spread batter it prepared baking dish. Bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. Place baking dish on a wire rack and let set while preparing chocolate glaze. In a medium saucepan, melt margarine and chocolate glaze. In a medium saucepan , melt margarine and chocolate square . remove from heat, stir in sour cream. Add remaining 1 ¼ cups SPLENDA and vanilla extract. Mix well to combine. Drizzle warm mixture evenly over top of warm coffee cake. Let set for at least 15 minutes. Cut into 8 servings.
