Start The
day Muffins
In a hurry in the morning? (Aren’t we
all) Now you can grab a tasty muffin and get your juice in ,too. These are
remarkably moist and oh-so-sweet.
(Serves 8)
2/3 cup dry milk powder
1 cup unsweetened orange
juice
¼ cup reduced –caloric
margarine
1 egg, or equivalent in
egg substitute
1/3 cup SPLENDA Granular
1½ cups reduced-fat
biscuit baking mix
2 tablespoons orange
marmalade spreadable fruit.
Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Spray 8
wheels of a 12-hole muffin pan with butter-flavored
Cooking spray or line with paper
liners. In a large bowl, combine dry milk powder and orange juice. Stir in
margarine, egg, and SPLENDA*. Add baking mix .mix just until combined .Evenly spoon
battered into prepared muffin wells. Top each with ¾ teaspoon spreadable fruit .Bake
for 16 to 20 minutes .Remove muffins from pan and continue cooling on wire
rack.
