Chunky Spaghetti Sauce

Here’s a terrific way to make spaghetti sauce that will convince your dinner guests that’s been cooking for hours on your stove. Lots of family coming for supper? You can easily double or triple this recipe.

Serves 4 ( ¾ cup)

½ cup finely chopped onion
½ cup finely chopped green bell pepper
1 cup finely chopped fresh mushrooms
1 ( 8- ounce)  can tomato sauce
1 ( 15- ounce) can diced tomatoes, undrained
2 tablespoons SPLENDA Granular
1 ½ teaspoons Italian Seasoning

In a medium saucepan sprayed with olive oil- flavored cooking start. Sauté onion, green pepper and mushrooms for 6 to 8 minutes. Stir in tomato sauce, undrained tomatoes, SPLENDA, and Italia seasoning. Lower heat and simmer for 10 to 12 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
