Grandma’s Graham Cracker Bars

Downright delectable these cozy, delicious homemade treats are fruity and nutty, moist and sweet. What a great choice for a holiday cookie swap!

Serves 8 (2 each)

2 eggs, or equivalent in egg substitute
2 tablespoons + 2 teaspoons reduced – calorie margarine
¼ cup fat – free half & half
¼ cup unsweetened applesauce
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
¾ cup SPLENDA Granular
1 cup + 2 tablespoons purchased graham cracker crumbs
2 tablespoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
½ cup seedless raisins
¼ cup chopped pecans

Preheat oven to 350 degrees, spray a 7-by-11-inch biscuit pan with  butter – flavored cooking spray. I a large bowl, beat eggs with a wire whisk until fluffy. Stir in margarine, half & half, applesauce , and vanilla extract . Add SPLENDA, graham cracker crumbs, flour, baking soda. Mix gently just to combine. Stir in raisins and pecans. Pat mixture evenly into prepared pan. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Place pan on  a wire rack and let set for at least 10 minutes. Cut into 16 bars.
