Hawaiian Green Beans

Hawaiian Green Beans

Harmony in music means a perfect balance and harmony in cooking usually means finding just the right balance Ingredients Here, the sweet fruit combines with a little vinegar for a true delight. 

Serves 4 (1/2 cup) 

1 (8-ounce) can pineapple tidbits, Packed in fruit juice
drained and ¼ cup liquid reserved
2 tablespoons white distilled vinegar
2 tablespoons SPLENDA Granular
1 tablespoon corn starch
1/8 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon dried onion flakes
1 ( 15- ounce) can cut green beans rinsed and drained. 

In a large skillet sprayed with butter - flavored spray combine. Reserved pineapple liquid, vinegar, SPLENDA cornstarch, black pepper and onion flakes. Bring mixture to a boil, stirring often. Stir in Green beans and pineapple. Lower heat and simmer for 5 minutes  or until mixture is heated through stirring occasionally. 

Each serving equals
